TIMOTHY RAMSAY
Tim Ramsay initially trained and practiced as an environmental consultant. Since 1983 he has helped to guide his clients in their insurance and investment needs. This advice has spanned many market cycles. Along with the experience he has gained through these times, Tim has also bolstered his skills by achieving his mutual fund license in 1985 followed by;
- Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 1992;
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 1996;
- Chartered Financial Consultant (Ch.F.C.) designation in 1997;
- Canadian Securities course in 2000;
- Conduct and Practices Handbook course in 2000;
- Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation in 2000;
- Investment Management Techniques course in 2003;
- Canadian Securities Institute Hedge Fund Seminar in 2004;
- Completed all four levels of Dundee Securities’ Certified Insurance Practitioner program in 2007
- Certified Seniors’ Advisor (CSA, now CPCA) designation in 2009;
Tim was a Commissioner of Oaths (Alberta) from 1985 to 2012. For many years he held the positions of Owner, Director, and Officer of a general insurance agency while operating his life insurance and investment practice.
